Re: Workshop Help?
I'd also like to know...
I do know the se maps don't work as the servers are currently configured. If our server is on an se map, which we had D2.se as the default... people can't join.
Switched to normal D2 and bam... server filled up.
I'm sure there is a way to get it working correctly, but I don't know what needs to be done yet.

Re: Workshop Help?
There are some basic instructions here for server owners:
https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wik ... _Operators
Unfortunately Valve doesn't seem to understand the concept of decent guides so it may be hard to understand.
NFO is still looking in to the new worksop and how it specifically works.

@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point
@Juski> Got my new signature, thanks!

@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

Re: Workshop Help?
Thx Kraze, I saw that link, and you are correct it was not helpful at all.
I want to mix custom maps, standard maps, and workshop maps, and I'm not clear on how that is done exactly.

Re: Workshop Help?
Valve wants users to chose between the workshop or the old method, using both probably isn't possible or easy...Cain wrote:Thx Kraze, I saw that link, and you are correct it was not helpful at all.

If CSGO already wasn't complicated enough :/

Re: Workshop Help?
You need to graduate from the University of Valve in order for you to host a CS:GO server, because all the configs and settings are just stupid, the game modes settings and all that crap.
Make it simple like CS:S.

Love KISS!!!!
Re: Workshop Help?
Looks like John and co. are on top of things as per usual.
In your CS:GO server's Easy Tab you can now select between standard/mapgroups and Workshop/Collection in a new Map Management function listed above the mapgroup field.
Great work NFO!

Re: Workshop Help?
Can we manually download workshop maps, the manually run them on our servers and put them on our redirects, the old fashioned way?

Yes, you can still do this but Valve doesn't recommend you use both systems. I do not believe they place nice together.
