VDS in Same Data Center as GameFront CDN?

So, I know that the VDS has a fast connection to the internet (<3 NFO) but I recently was downloading a copy of the GoldenEye64 Server files to the VDS (For a total of 1.17 GB) and watched as the VDS chewed through the download at about 30mb/s. I think I was done with the download in about 30 seconds lol.

The VDS Is located in LA. But man was that fast lol. I've never seen a file transfer of that size go so fast before hahaha.

EDIT: It's taking 100x longer just to unzip the files! Lol

It is likely that the CDN node you were connecting to was very close by and had significant spare capacity at the time. Usually download speeds are limited by the other end

Hahaha yea. It's was so beautiful to see! This is why I like renting from NFO
