Re: CentOS EOL
Thanks for the relies, and yes I was asking if the installer for CentOS was going to be replaced with something else. I had seen the cd drives of the but didn't realize it had other installers. Never really looked actually.... I can see waiting for the dust to settle before pulling the plug, ...

Re: paste in vnc console?
Ya, I gave up and just reinstalled, just seams like that way is more taking on the hardware, was trying to avoid it. I just have to remember to keep my keys on an usb drive or something. The server is just for doing classes, so not a big deal for me anyway.
Thanks

paste in vnc console?
Stupid question, I looked to see if it was asked before, but couldnt find it. Got locked out of my vds because I disabled password authentication in ssh, logged in with the vnc console and couldnt figure out how to paste in my .pub key that I had to regenerate. I see the clipboard and inserted the k...

Re: Insurgency Sandstorm
Did the server eventually even out? If so what kind of virtual machine would be needed to run it, 2,3 4 cores or more, windows or linux?
Thanks

point domain to different folder and keep ssl
I am trying to figure out if I can point a domain to a folder on my account and be able to keep the ssl. Currently using the lets encrypt version. Both domains are on NFO, and both currently work with their own directory. When I try to use the forward, it says the site is not secure error, when I us...

SSL Page
Thanks for enabling the use of lets encrypt.
My question is, can I make the SSL page be the default. So say someone goes to acoolwebsite.com it would automatically load https://acoolwebsite.com
I know I could in linux, just not sure if it is possible with the web hosting.
Thanks

Re: america's army proving grounds
Alsi, if a VDS is the way I have to go, what level would I need to use and have good stability. Would it run good on the dual core, or would I have to use the 3 or 4 core server setup.
Thanks
Thanks

america's army proving grounds
Would NFO be able to start hosing AA:PG servers. I REALLY do not like gameservers, not sure if I would need a full VDS for it either

Re: Server time
the shutdown -h now command might have been useful when adjusting the advanced settings, everyone said reboot, until you said it. Guess I still have a lot to learn.
Thanks

Re: Server time
I did a fresh install, checked the timedatectl and it was off 4 hours, did what you had suggested edge, still off 4 hours. Did this 'timedatectl set-local-rtc 0' and unchecked Use a local system clock instead of UTC. Now it is correct even after reboot. timedatectl Local time: Wed 2016-06-01 22:07:5...

Re: Server time
Thing is, I tested a Server someplace else plus a test server at my house, and had no issues with this. I am not sure if it is my settings on the vds, or the control panel. Or if it is on the main box itself. It wouldn't matter so much if it didn't mess with the procon plugins that require time sync...
