Re: Sniper Elite 3: Available?
Hey, John: I'm running Sniper Elite V4 on my windows VDS using just a simple batch file for automation to avoid using firedaemon for now so the resource logs are lean. You're welcome to check out anything you need to see if you guys want to offer SEV4. I Love the game, it's still got a community so ...

Re: Sniper Elite 3: Available?
Busy with many things around here, but we'll try to check it out. If you're already running it on an unmanaged machine/VDS and can provide information on performance, etc, that would be helpful, as well. I had been running it on a VDS and in fact up to 3 instances at a time in the recent past. Our ...

Re: NFOServers Discord server
Believe it or not, in many popular gaming circles, Discord is what so many gamers actually feel towards a product that you have ZERO control over from an administration standpoint. I agree with Edge about how it's nice to use your own bandwidth, or as in my case, using TS3, which offers superior voi...

Re: Game Modes and map names?
There are many mistakes in the Battlefield Hardline maplist compatibility chart. many are not compatible with the RESCUE gametype that are listed as compatible, but the server will ignore them, take them out of maplist.txt, and tell you which maps are ignored. Also the XP1 map list has 2 MP entries ...

Re: NFO Hosting BO3 Servers?
TTT condescending, arrogant and non-professional? I'm shocked!
I agree that non-ranked servers that IW screwed us over with starting in MW3 (COD8) days and now continued to do so are a waste of time regardless
of featuers or lack thereof.

Re: Sniper Elite 3: Available?
A game is never dead if you have a clan with people interested in playing it.
Such is the reason I think it's a shame NFO doesn't host SEV2 or SEV3 as we enjoy both at DFg.

Over a year later, many competing GSP's offering this game, and not even a single reply. What the hell?

Nice topic! Informative:)
I enjoy helping out others when I can, If I weren't so busy with life and parenting (13-year olds take some effort )
I'd be in your IRC quite often. I will also come by and say hello and do what I can... no credit needed I just enjoy being a customer here.
Cheers!

Re: VDSes get more bandwidth at lower prices
DJF-1975 does have a valid point here. Maybe NFO do need to offer managed service on a lower core requirement than windows managed. Limiting everything to one IP, and a managed service for a Linux 2-3 core VDS can be attractive to customers, but at same time keeping the cost for NFO in check as wel...

Re: VDSes get more bandwidth at lower prices
Would it be possible to add MANAGED capability to a 2-3 CPU/CORE LINUX server since they require less resources to run programs VS the windows heavy resource comparison"? like say Linux 2 core (pick the os as long as it's linux) and do a managed. This way customers that are not Linux savvy like...

Not anymore. oh well all good things must come to an end. It'sRandinator wrote: I have to say that NFO has the best pricing per specs for vds/vps and dedi servers.
on a lighter note they still have the best performance and pricing for stand-alone game servers.
