Thing is, I already have an NFO linux VDS server where my websites are running, and I do not want to order another service package just for the A records :-) - DNS and such are not my forte, so I'd appreciate it if anyone can explain me what I'm supposed to do after pointing my domain's nameservers ...

Well it seems to have been fixed so guess it had something to do with the datacenter's router just as i thought indeed!
