Segmentation fault is a generic error. I can cause that error message with a lot of crash types. Your best bet is to see if a stock server is stable(play with bots for an hour, or play with some friends), then work backwards disabling plugins till the crashing stops. Debian/ubuntu is probably the most common. I HIGHLY doubt it is a kernel issue. Have you done troubleshooting like running a completely stock(no mm/sm/any server plugins) server and see if it still crashes?
