Re: Feedback.
Thanks for your answer, i did though on that, since i'm used to work on backend systems that are a mess of views model and controller in the same file, so i can recomment that a way to speedup a cosmetic upgrade and also the perfomance and future site maintenance is make a REST API so that there is ...

Re: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.
After some extra testing I find this (With RustIO Installed): CPU Ussage at the initial server start phase = 100% CPU Ussage After the initial server starting = 29%-33% CPU Ussage While Reloading RustIO (oxide.reload RustIO) = 100% CPU Ussage Average RustIO Reloading Time (100 Reloads) = 10 Seconds....

Re: Changing root password on Debian
Your title differs from what you are trying to do, if you actually can login with a sudo account do sudo passwd root or if you are running the root user do the passwd root . May only if you were a bit confused on what you were trying to do. Also if you are trying to rest your password (as I'm not a ...

Yeh when the image is rendering you will see a fps drop to 5 or 10 in server but it only renders the image once every restart or every time you reload the plugin, which means that its just a temporal ussage. Anyways for me it takes from 10-15 seconds with a standard 4000 size map. i could expect 30,...

Re: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.
After reisntalling windows 2008 R2 i got RustIO working, just installing it without -beta experimental in STEAMCMD, try to install your server without it and it will do the trick also in the shared system. You should allow RustIO it's one of the most popular Rust extensions ;D

After many testing I found that A workaround is use widows server 2012 R2 or it could be using steam cmd without -beta experimental, I'll test more tomorrow and see which one is the real fix.

Re: Bandwidth Speed
This post is a bit old but I'd like to add, that your ping is based on your location, some ppl trend to think that the more bandwidth you have the less ping, but it's not like that. Your bandwidth is like the width of a road it doesn't matter how much you increase it if you have to travel from Dalla...

While trying to install RustIO in a Managed instace i got this error, i contacted NFO staff and they said that this was a limitation on the managed system and shared, then i jumped to a extra Unmanaged to run Rust, since i love RustIO it's ver helpful, but while trying to get it working on a unmanag...

Some suggestions with software.
I'm actually thinking on get a Unmanaged VDS to host Rust Experimental because in my actual one Managed instance i can't run RustIO, but i'd like to hear some suggestions about some watchdog software, where i could restart the server, stop it and also recover it from crashes. Also another suggestion...
