So i have about 20+ servers all connected to source bans, ranking plugin and the store.

I have a vds with mysql on it and all my servers start timing out and going offline/online every second. John said that it wasnt a attack, or a exploit from either A2S attack or anything.

Oh my apologies i actually had these values set already for a while and they never solved the issue.

Use mysql --print-defaults after restarting to see that your settings have taken effect. I tried it and it said "mysql would have been started with the following arguements:" (then nothing else shows)

my.cnf or my.ini is fine. If I remember correctly you don't edit mysqld.cnf.
Yeah well my.cnf is what i have and it was useless and didnt change anything. max_allowed_packet was in mysqld.cnf so i changed it to 512M and then ran mysqld --verbose --help which showed that it was now at 512M but ...

It's a network/firewall issue. Try raising the max_allowed_packet to a much larger number, since the default is 1M.

To set the max_allowed_packet to 256M, you can add it to /etc/my.cnf or my.ini

[mysqld]
max_allowed_packet=256M

So i been getting these mysql errors lately.

So i purchased my third unmanaged linux vds and was going to do a LAMP stack on Ubuntu 16.04 (my previous machines had ubuntu 14 and 15)
I logged in and did apt-get update, then proceeded with apt install apache2 and already had issues.

Soja was able to fix the issue.
Now another issue occured.

so i did the
sudo apt-get purge linux-image-x.x.xx-generic (older version)
on a old kernel and then i restarted the vds, then did do-release-upgrade and it said there were issues along the way but still successful upgrade.
Now my whole website is gone and nothing works just bunch of code. Cant ...

So my whole web disappeared and the mysql and everything stopped working, then i check and it wanted me to do a ubuntu update which i did but then its telling me
