Re: Is it possible to be both cheaper than all competitors and higher quality? Yes!

Just wanted to say kudos to NFo for being responsible. If 2020 hasn't effected the real world enough, half the internet is on fire thanks to massive AWS outages. Fortunately NFo is still running thanks to zero dependency services powered by their own datacenters. Keep up the good work.

Re: Control panel app for Iphone/Android?

No mobile control panel was being offered here, it was a suggestion to add one. Personally, I do not think it necessary. Not all websites need to coincide with a mobile app-- phones have web browsers for a reason :)

Re: Is there a way to turn a dedicated server off from the control panel?

For both server types, it is best to do shutdowns and reboots from within the OS whenever possible to ensure a graceful shutdown. From outside of the OS, such as when done with the NFO control panel, a graceful shutdown is not always possible. I believe what Alphaboy references here is turning off ...

Re: Is there a way to turn a dedicated server off from the control panel?

Based on the options you have, you may actually have a dedicated server and not a virtual one. What options do you have under "server control"?

Re: Is there a way to turn a dedicated server off from the control panel?

For a virtual dedicated server, the UI will look something like this: https://i.imgur.com/uTah6tV.png If you have a full dedicated server, the UI may look a bit different. It should be clear which you have via the options. Can you take a screenshot of the control panel if you still are not seeing it?

Re: Is there a way to turn a dedicated server off from the control panel?

For a virtual dedicated server, you should be able to enter server control and press "turn off", like this: https://i.imgur.com/GTCtrv1.png This will turn off the server indefinitely, until you turn it on from the control panel again. As for how to tell the difference between the two, any ...

Re: Advice about moving server regions

It seems that even if you connect via a name, the IP that the game presents is still the numbers IP, both in what will be added to favorites and finding the IP via the status command or the display in the top right corner. That is likely the reason why most people simply use the numbers IP to begin ...

Re: RDP freezes after some hours?

Remote Desktop has never dropped connection for me even when on for many hours. May be a connectivity issue on either your end or whatever software is on your server (does other connections like FTP drop etc?) What would you need AutoHotKey for? For a testing server I would recommend installing that...

Re: PHP ver

I see, thanks. "we are receiving feedback that it is no longer compatible with major applications. " It is true that I am not able to run the most current version of some of my softwares on PHP 7.2 (currently using an oudated version) and would like if that was updated, although I would gu...

Re: PHP ver

I also would like an updated version of PHP if that is possible. I have to use an outdated software version because the latest version has dropped support for PHP 7.2. While PHP 7.2 is still in support, I would hope for the latest version. I had asked about this in #nfo-support and was told that it ...

Re: Is it possible to be both cheaper than all competitors and higher quality? Yes!

I think one thing that commonly goes overlooked with NFos control panel is the little bits of text that explain stuff. It's a common complaint for the control panel that the UI looks outdated. For people who aren't customers the UI looks like this for game servers, this for VDSes, this for web hosti...

Re: Demos being zipped interferes with a plugin and doesnt upload the demo.

I meant more specifically the servers connection to demos tf server. As it may work from your own computer but not from the server. Other things would be connecting to other websites from the server and such.

Re: Demos being zipped interferes with a plugin and doesnt upload the demo.

That would depend on a number of things. Have you tested other variables such as connection to demos tf server?
