Anyone have any idea why DICE won't drop a one liner letting us know an estimated time to fix the server side issues such as the infinite black loading screen? What really really sucks is that my server get's traffic with 0 players in it on a daily basis... then gets capped at 8 players on the loadi...

Whether servers fill is more up to Battlelog, the number of empty servers currently out there compared to the number of players, and factors that the customer controls (number of seed players, server mode, etc). So, I don't expect for R9 to help with server emptiness issues. R9 may help with crashe...

I found the only way to fix this is by changing maps or restarting the server... however I must say I'm not keen on spending any more money on a server that costs me far too many hours compared to enjoyable playing time. Hopefully R9 comes soon or BF3 is going to the trash can.

Zane - it worked! 30/32 right now after doing a GUID reset and stopping the server completely for 5 minutes.

Big thanks to the community and John & team for the continued support. I'll post any progress or tips i come across from this point.

Hey Zane. Thanks for the tip. I'll try that now... before I was just doing a simple reset but maybe a complete shut down will do the trick.

No hardcore mode or anything enabled. Only changed the player start count.
