Updated colocation page

I've updated the colocation page to reflect the 100 mbps burstable connectivity we can now provide at either Verio LA or InterNAP Seattle. Colocation is the best option for servers we can't provide (Battlefield 1942, Natural Selection in its current state, etc.) and allows you to have control of you...

Something sad I just saw

I was just looking at another major server provider's forums, and I was surprised to see a post made by a staff member there. It included the following: "..you should contact us when you notice your server is down. Sometimes there is a reason why we take it down, other times it just crashes. So...

HLGuard 1.35 released

HLGuard 1.35 is out. As usual, if you'd like me to upgrade your server for you, just give me a holler (rentals@nuclearfallout.net). I highly recommend upgrading to 1.35 if you are still running 1.20 or less.

You need to find a more knowledgeable friend ;). Everything does work, and those administrating our dozens of hosted sites can attest to that :D

Uck, ASP. I highly recommend you switch to PHP as a faster and more flexible solution.

Yeah, AT&T has really gone down the tubes in a lot of places. From what I hear, they replaced their Network Operations Center engineers with a team of poodles. And not even intelligent poodles, at that.

Admin mod is notorious for bugs with its plugins. Make sure you are running the latest version, and that you have an anti-flooding plugin installed, and it shouldn't be exploitable (at least, I have never seen it used maliciously in that case).

If you're using IE's FTP features, you can right-click on the file and choose properties; you'll see the chmod options there.

Control panel's File Manager upgrades

I've made some upgrades to the File Manager portion of the control panel. Specifically, I added a file copy option, the ability to edit files in addons/ and its subdirectories, and a button to create a new file. These should make using the File Manager a bit faster and easier. If you have any proble...

You can edit the HLGuard configs in addons/hlguard ;). I already turned the wallhack block off for you, so you shouldn't have to worry about that.

I posted a little while back about the new HLGuard (it's the third post from the top right now in the news).
