We're experiencing another DoS attack today on our InterNAP Seattle location. Some servers will not be responding as a result, and others will be lagging. We're working on the problem.
Update: Everything has returned to some semblance of normalcy at this point. Thanks for your patience.

Control panel faster
I've upgraded the control panel and server database backend to be MySQL, and as a result the control panel runs faster and more reliably. I also will be adding more features to it later, as they are easier to add with the new system. As part of the upgrade, I have also revamped the server page to al...

Hard to say what might have been causing the differences. Oftentimes the map and server settings have a significant impact on the latency in-game. Of course, since both servers are hosted at the same facility, actual ping (from the command line) to both servers is the same. Have you tried tweaking y...

One server machine was down tonight..
For between a half-hour and an hour, one of our boxes at InterNAP (a dual Xeon 2.2ghz) was down tonight. The operating system had become corrupt and it would not boot. I have remedied the problem by rolling back to an earlier configuration of the server; unfortunately, since the server hadn't been r...

Another denial of service attack
We're being attacked again tonight. The attack started at around 6pm and it has continued constantly (it is now 7:30pm, PST). We've been on the phone with InterNAP regarding the flood of traffic, and they are working to block out the malicious data. This attack is causing ping spikes and jumps. I wi...
Lag?
It looks like we experienced a DOS (Denial of Service) attack today for about two hours, from 3pm to around 5pm PST. A huge influx of bogus traffic caused ping spikes and lag for all the servers at InterNAP. We're currently looking into exactly what happened and how to guard against such attacks in ...

Value servers
We now once again offer value servers! Instead of using InterNAP bandwidth in Seattle, Value servers utilitize Verio bandwidth in Los Angeles. They might be slightly higher ping than the InterNAP servers (now called Premium servers), but they provide excellent bang for the buck, since they are still...

Referral program
We've started a referral program! That's right, by referring other clans to us, you can get free upgrades to your server, or even an entire free server. Just make sure that the people you refer mention your name and your email address in the comments, and you'll be on your way to free upgrades. :D C...

Forums were broken
It looks like permissions on the forums got reset back to requiring moderator-level access for all actions when I upgraded phpBB. I've set them back to what they should be, so everyone should be able to post now!

HLGuard 1.20 is out
The newest version was released Friday. If your server uses HLGuard and you'd like it upgraded by us (this will require a server restart), please tell me. If you purchased FTP, you can also upgrade manually by shutting down the server and uploading the newer HLGuard install into the correct director...

Web hosting
I have successfully configured our webserver to be able to host customer webpages. Currently, we are evaluating whether or not to charge extra for this service (and if so, how much), but right now we will provide it for free. If you are in need of web hosting, please e-mail me (edge100x@nuclearfallo...
