I'm curious if the reason the server takes so much resources is because the engine is so inefficient. In playing the single player game, it seems to take a lot more resources than Far Cry, and Far Cry is far superior in its physics and graphics. I've been suprised at how poorly the game runs in ligh...

Valve is a constant parade of incompetency. I laugh at people who try to defend them. Sorry but there are many other software companies doing a good job right now, like Ubisoft, Valve is the absolute worst. For every fix they release they introduce 3 new bugs. The sad thing is, I'm so looking forwar...

I ping around 95 from Lynden, WA (north of Bellingham right on the canadian border). What i'm most suprised about though is how smooth it ran. It was better than other servers i've played on with a 50 ping. The biggest problem is the number of hackers in there. In the half hour I played I had 2 hack...

I think a good idea is for NFo to have all, or at least a large number of the hundreds of cs maps, in a central location. Then you could just install shortcuts on the servers to the map locations. In essence you would be renting servers with hundreds of maps already installed however you wouldn't ha...

I think he is looking for something like serverspy. If that is the case you can find everything you need to do that for a NFo server here:
