Re: VDS infected will malware. Cant make Backup. Help!
Is this a Windows VDS? might be a long shot but you can download Malware-Bytes anti-malware onto your machine and try running the Full scan. On desktop machines it typically catches almost everything. once the malware is removed from your PC i suggest backing up your files (if NFO will remove your b...

Re: Shrink my C Disk
What Game server are you running? i know in enterprise deployments it is recommended to partition your server files from the OS files but if your just running 1 - 2 game servers off of your machine i don't see a reason to do this. i dont think it will boost performance either.

Re: Fastest/Best Way to Keep VDS Files Synced to My Desktop
you could setup an owncloud server to sync files between your VDS and your computer. its basically a build your own google drive / skydrive or whatever you use for cloud storage.

Re: Is there any way to get a better CPU on a VPS?
Is it possible to leave your TF2 server on the current server and order a second Linux only server to host your SQL / Apache / Hl2 Stats stuff? its still cheaper ($20/month) then the 2-Core option ($24.99/month). you could also point fast downloads and other features to your second server. my 1 core...

Re: I want to install 2X Remote Desktop on my dedicated serv
You could take the subnet mask of your Public IP address and allow that range of address through 3389 on the firewall. you can do that for the other users as well. also having a strong 16+ character password should assist you in the matter as well.

Re: 128 tick server help
Is everyone on your server experiencing the low tick rate dips? i noticed that when i am playing CS GO if my frame rates go below about 120 my tick rate will not be able to maintain the 128. i do not know if this is an issue with just my desktop but it may be something to try. lower all of your Grap...

CS:GO server stuck on Warmup 00:01
Hello Everyone,
I have a CS:GO server hosted on my linux VDS. the server operates fine except when it trys to warmup on map change. the warmup timer seems to get stuck at 0:01 and it will not continue to the 1st round until the players on 1 team have died. has anyone seen this issue?
Thanks

Re: Lowering 128tick price
As someone who just bought a 128 Tick Server I think the price is fine. You're not just paying for particular specs, you're paying for up time and customer service as well. Which I'd rather pay a premium and get better service than scuff a few bucks for 1/2 ass service. I see your point that they d...

Re: Lowering 128tick price
If you want to put it in that kind of perspective i personally think there should be two options one for 128 tick on the regular hyperaccelerated and another one for this "FPS locker" technology. I personally do not need that technology myself as if it only sets the frames 100 without any ...

Re: Lowering 128tick price
Hello again, i was just asking for peoples opinion on the matter but with the higher costs i dont understand how the FPS locker technology that typically runs at 1000FPS cap would use a certain amount of CPU usage. Furthermore if the FPS locker locks itself at 128FPS which is the same as the tickrat...

Lowering 128tick price
Hello, I am just curious that since the FPS has been capped at the tickrate that the 128 tick will always be a premium of $14.99. Personally I don't think that double the price of a 10 slot server should justify increasing the tickrate from 100 to 128. I haven't seen what other companies offer 128ti...

Re: Installing a VPN server
You can install a VPN line on your VDS box. but you have to use the windows roles in 2008 or maybe 2003. you have to install RRAS server role and enable nat / VPN with a custom configuration on one nic card. then you can make your accounts locally to login or you can install the active directory rol...

Re: TS3 allow server scan
i believe you can make a account on gametracker and manually install your server IP to display on it.. i have a acc that i use to add my killing floor servers and my vent aswell so i assume this is the best way to get it on game tracker.
