Re: New Server Port - Not connecting

Steam actually sees both of your servers, as well. You can see using their API here: https://api.steampowered.com/ISteamApps ... 153.108.80

What error do you receive when attempting to connect?

Re: New Server Port - Not connecting

There's nothing within our system that would preventing you from using these ports. That is, as long as there's no event posted to the Events Log tab of your control panel saying that these ports are being filtered, then they aren't being filtered, so you may need to look at binding. My networking k...

How did you first install Apache? What operating system are you on? Did you modify the 000-default.conf file after installing Apache?

Re: Lavalite

What problems are you experiencing when doing this, specifically? We don't support installing Composer globally, but you should be able to upload the composer.phar file to the directory that you want to install the software and then run the following via SSH php composer.phar create-project LavaLite...

Re: VDS Gameservers with Webservers

It should be quite alright to run your webserver on the same VDS as your game servers. Even up to fairly intensive medium sized websites, a single core will handle the webserver fine, along with about 1GB of memory and the operating system scheduler will move the stuff around to make sure it's not c...

Re: Please explain 'Simultaneous connections'

Correct, the connection is only open as long as data is actually being transferred from your website to their browser. Once they have the data, the connection is closed, even if they continue viewing the page.

Re: Websync page doesn't show anything

Are you a secondary user on the package? If this is a standard game server package and you're a secondary user, the primary user would also need to add you as a secondary user to the webhosting portion of the package, from their Panel Access tab, in their webhosting control panel (which is separate ...

Hi there! If you've never used our services before, our system will automatically apply a free, two day trial to your order. It'll only require a 1-cent test charge on your payment source that is immediately refunded, then you get two full days to test the service and the control panel. If you cance...

Re: Workshop Content not downloading.

You'll definitely want to make sure that the collection is public, and published. You'll also need to create the .lua file for the workshop that we outline here: https://forums.nfoservers.com/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=7337 After testing those, if you're on a standard game server, or one on a managed VDS/...

Is there a default Rcon port I should be using? I'm trying to use a 3rd party software to Rcon, but it just doesn't connect to the server. Port forwarding should be fine form my side. Yep! The default RCON port (and the port we use) is 27015. You'll just want to make sure you have a password set on...

Re: Confused why SSL (HTTPS) is not working on my website

If you've added the domain recently, it can take some time for everything to start working. You might try clearing your cache. If the domain has been added for some time and clearing the cache doesn't work, please try removing and then readding the domain, which will prompt our system to regenerate ...

Re: Possible issues with using my own domain name?

In that case, yes, there are many features that may not work because without the nameservers being set to NS1.NFOSERVERS.COM and NS2.NFOSERVERS.COM, we're not actually managing the DNS for your domain, so we can't create records, or provide proper SSL certificates. This would be the responsibility o...

Re: VDS with Procon external Database (TOS)

Hi there. For #1, you're fine. The only real condition there is having permission. If it's your VDS and your game server, you're free to make those connections, because you're giving yourself permissions. This policy doesn't require you get explicit permission. If a service makes itself available (a...
