I use (and recommend) OpenVPN http://www.openvpn.net . You can configure it so that it becomes your primary gateway to the internet. That can't be done on a virtual windows PC. But I found another way of doing it which is done through windows services. I put the link here in case anyone want to use...

What of the main uses of a VDS is to act as a VPN server!

The problem is I cant make head or tail of Ubuntu and BTW I have game server that doesnt work on Ubuntu!Edge100x wrote:I'm not very familiar with available VPN solutions, myself. Have you considered switching your VDS to straight Ubuntu, though?

Installing a VPN server
Hi, I need to install a VPN server on my virtual server and I need it for accessing the internet. The windows VPN conection doens't support ICS on VPN connections so I need a 3rd party application to do so. Any suggestions on what application I can use? I already tried older versions of OpenVPN but ...
