Re: Origin down?

They are having major issues today
NOTICE We are performing maintenance on the game in general at the moment. We will keep you updated on the progress.
It looks like they are trying to release another "unplanned" server patch to correct some problems

Re: BF3 Server Patch R13

DICE have released an R14 server update & asked all GSP's update the servers straight away. This patch should fix players getting kicked with the error message 'Missing Content' when connecting to some servers. This roll out will start @ 18:30 GMT / 19:30 CET. We know this is the worse possible...

BF3 Server Patch R13

I am picking up info that the r12 patch cause more problems and we are now at r13?

From another GSP
We're in the process of installing the R13 server patch your server may go offline in this time. Please do not restart your server in ClanForge as this can cause issues in the patching process.

Re: Procon

We use the "Adaptive Server Size" plugin on our 64 slot and it works fine From what I understand - the black screen problem is caused when you increase the size of the server AFTER the round has started. This plugin always starts a round at the maximum server size and then a short time lat...

Re: Server crash, password change.

I assume were talking about a BF3 Server? 1. In Procon - the person has to have the privilege "Allowed to shut down the gamer server" 2. In Procon, Console Tab > type " admin.Shutdown " (case sensitive) Note - this should immediately shutdown your gameserver and it *should* immed...

Re: ProCon and the Rcon Port?

I forgot to add - one way to check if you have the right info is to try to connect to your game server directly from procon running on YOUR computer Use the rcon password to log in, you don't need a username, all you need is the gameserver ip and port - 47200. If you can connect from home, then try ...

Re: ProCon and the Rcon Port?

I am not familiar with how they do it The file that contains the layer server info is "procon.cfg" You should have some lines that start with "procon.private.servers.name" - and it should have the ip for your game server listed after that followed by a port number and then the ac...

Re: ProCon and the Rcon Port?

Who is hosting your procon layer now?

Sometimes you have to add a line with the gamerserver ip and rcon port to the config file

Edge100x wrote: GitSum, It does list vars.onlySquadLeaderSpawn as needing to be set to "true" for hardcore mode in that document. Were you looking at a different column?.
Yep - my bad. For some reason when I wrote that, I was thinking that the last column was hardcore, sorry

Re: General questions about my Server

I have attached a link to the latest server docs - r11 Download the file and look at the "BF3 PC Server Administration.pdf" in particular the chart on page 12. Hardcore requires those specific settings, or your server will show up as "custom" in Battlelog. Note - the chart is WRO...

Re: General questions about my Server

DICE restricts access to any BF3 files - so everything is already on the server, you just need to configure it

Go into your NFO Control Panel and click on the "Easy Setup" tab - that is where you will find all the settings and map list for your server

Re: Error: MySQL version you are attempting to use is to old

When I look at myphpadmin - it shows "Server version: 5.1.56" if it is of any help

I think the actual latest/greatest is 5.5 something

Re: Another question for screenshots

That actually worked pretty easy. Created the three subdomains and now the WebSynch options for each of our servers show these locations, so I can have the screenshots go into the proper folder. Thx John! subdomains.jpg ps - it still would be nice to auto websynch more than once every 24 hours...

Re: Another question for screenshots

First off I assume that you have to have SS's "synced" to another folder from the default PB folder because its inside the BF3 directory? If thats the case, isn't there a way to change the default path for where the SS's are placed? We are having this problem also - with three servers, I ...
