Re: Hawkeye
if I get it working I'll put up a little guide. it seems to be the new flavor in anti griefing. lets you roll back on a per player per block basis. also lets you track problem players who are stealing or hording.
Hawkeye
Have you guys created any guides for installing Hawkeye on NFO servers? Seems like a nice bukkit plug in to have running. Requires SQL and a web server to connect to, seems right up your alley.

Re: Server freezing/clone/responsiveness problems
Yeah it is correct. It was working up until last night and then a wave of server wonk hit us. The one thing I can confirm is correct is the IP, its about all i have access to to check! any other ideas are welcome.

Re: Server freezing/clone/responsiveness problems
the log does go back far enough to account for the rollback, but I found this
[SEVERE] [dynmap] Failed to start WebServer on null:8123
which at least gives me a direction to start in on tracking down the dynmap issue. I suspect the jar was corrupted or something.

Re: Server freezing/clone/responsiveness problems
right this moment everything seems fine in game for players. Emotionally they are 'over' the rollback. however a single player has this weird ghost clone hanging out. He is still able to play but if you go over to his clone and wack on it he takes damage. so theirs something weird going on there. on...

Re: Server freezing/clone/responsiveness problems
The last 250 lines are just full of chat and joins from the past day. This happened around 8pm yesterday. I have some permissions java errors in the log but that's due to my trying to learn it later that night.

Server freezing/clone/responsiveness problems
Had some weirdness on the server. I decided to try out bukkit essentials via the autoinstall. When I did that and restarted the server was rolled back about 45 minutes and the HTML part of dynmap stopped responding. I've removed essentials and reinstalled dynmap twice, including the config from http...

Re: Dynmap web config
yeah I looked over the wiki for configuring it on a remote webserver it and it was both way over my head and looked like things I don't have access too at my level. Glad plugging in the IP was such a simple fix.

Anyone been able to get Dynmap configured to work on the webserver included with NFO hosted minecraft?
I'd love some help getting it linked up, it looks amazing.

Re: BF3 server looking for a new home.
I understand that Dice has really dropped the ball on the server side of this thing. and most players are simply unaware because they never have to deal with any of this. My main gripe is that rather than explain the situation like any rational 35+ year old would explain it to their mom, the guys ar...

BF3 server looking for a new home.
I'm tired of being over charged and mis-charged by Multiplay for a 64 player server that crashes constantly, never appears on battlelog, and kicks everyone at the end of a round. I'm tired of constantly being referred to a wall-of-text readme file for their crap clanforge admin tool. I'm tired of be...
