Re: Isass.exe using 80% of CPU

That process processes logins from what I'm seeing online.

You may want to use your Firewall tab on your panel to block traffic to port 3389. Before that blocking rule, you should create one to allow traffic from your home IP address.

You should also verify that Windows is updated.

Re: Mod upload to server error

Hard to say, but since Forge will make a world backup, it won't necessarily hurt anything to try.

Re: Mod upload to server error

You may need to check if you have pneumaticcraft installed, if so, you would need to make sure that oil is enabled.

It may conflict with Buildcraft as well.

Re: FTB Forge Mods setup

I can't say without seeing what the server is doing.

Please go ahead and open a support request so I can take a look at it.

Re: FTB Forge Mods setup

A bad word choice on my part. You would install the server to C:\forgeserver or a similar path. After you do that, the folder should look similar to this: http://i.codysalt.com/tCZL4K.png You would upload those files to your server's FTP. After that, create a folder on the FTP named "mods" if it doe...

Re: FTB Forge Mods setup

Buildcraft changes world generation for oil, so you may want to reconsider using a pre-existing map if it is a vanilla map. The easiest way to get Forge running is to download their installer onto your PC, run it, and select the "Install Server" option. Extract the files to somewhere easy to remembe...

Re: Setting up Feed the Beast Direwolf 1.12.2

If it is a standard Minecraft server, you wouldn't need to install Java on it. Are you trying to run the server once locally and then upload it to the server FTP by chance? If so, you'd want to install something like this on your PC before running that installer: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/c...

Is this a server we manage, or on an Unmanaged VDS?

Re: Creating a php file on myBB is causing a php error.

I believe I see the error.

Try changing

Code: Select all

<title>{$mybb->settings[bbname]}</title>
to

Code: Select all

<title>{$mybb->settings['bbname']}</title>
You may need to track down the specific template file that contains it though.

Re: Creating a php file on myBB is causing a php error.

Can you paste the string that is being eval'd?

Specifically the result of this:

Code: Select all

echo $templates->get("rules")

Re: Help - Server Rental

That isn't an advertisement, it is a subdomain.

You'd just need to add your domain to your package if you don't want to use a subdomain.

Adding a domain does not require the PRO plan.

Re: htaccess file

Based on what you are describing, it would be easier to create an index.html file with nothing in it. This will give a blank page to anyone trying to browse the directory.

Re: Adverizement help for a new server?

Hello everyone, I recently decided it was time to make a gmod server, after hours of looking for a good host i stumbled upon NFO. At first i was sceptical about putting any of my paypal information towards a server, but after reading some reviews on NFO i decided i would do it. And its a good thing...

This may be related to your DNS servers.

Are you using Google's? 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
