Re: htaccess file

Based on what you are describing, it would be easier to create an index.html file with nothing in it. This will give a blank page to anyone trying to browse the directory.

Re: Adverizement help for a new server?

Hello everyone, I recently decided it was time to make a gmod server, after hours of looking for a good host i stumbled upon NFO. At first i was sceptical about putting any of my paypal information towards a server, but after reading some reviews on NFO i decided i would do it. And its a good thing...

Re: "Temporary Failure Resolving" What am I doing wrong?

This may be related to your DNS servers.

Are you using Google's? 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Re: New Call of Duty

It would be nice, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for it. Most new titles have transitioned to a different multiplayer model that is more geared towards microtransactions and offering a multiplayer "experience" instead of servers.

Re: Issues with setting up VPS services

Hi all, I've been trying to configure my CentOS 7 VPS with all the services I want to run but I'm having issues actually establishing connections to those services, Apache times out whenever I try to browse to the server's IP address, same with Webmin, Usermin and anything else I try to connect to ...

Re: Running multiple servers on Linux

As long as your server program runs in a terminal, you could run it in a program called "screen"

Re: Headless Linux Factorio Server | Silent Failure

It has been a long time but I did successfully run a Factorio server for myself and a friend from one of our Linux VDSes. I did not use a server manager or panel however, I just placed it in a screen session through Putty. If you aren't able to connect using SSH, this could come down to a firewall i...

Re: FTB Revelation 2.7.0 -- Memory Issues

If memory is spiking even with a new world, that points towards a mod going haywire. When you are able, please open a support request and ask to be assigned to Cody. I'd like to take a look at your server and try some startup line changes to see if we can get those restarts under control by lowering...

Re: FTB Revelation 2.7.0 -- Memory Issues

I am not familiar with that specific pack, however a big source of leaks can be chunk loading and mods that use their own threads. Do you have any kind of computer mods, such as computercraft or opencomputers? Also, are you using multiple worlds (even if it is something like rftools dimensions or my...

Re: NFO website and Control Panel Down

There were intermittent periods overnight when the website was offline, but things should be online and running right now.

Uptime detectors tend to cache data for a while unfortunately so it still may be showing things as offline on such sites.

Re: Internal Errors with commands

Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/bukkit/util/Java15Compat at me.incomprehendable.dev.pwp.FakeSimpleCommandMap.dispatch(FakeSimpleCommandMap.java:98) This seems to be the source of your error. Whichever plugin you have labeled PWP. (Possibly Per World Plugins?). That plugin may be outd...

Re: Internal Errors with commands

Every time that I try to execute a command (even /help), I get "An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command". Video/Gif: https://i.imgur.com/izQBr4t.gif If you could try this again with your server console open and paste the error text, it should be fairly easy to pinpoint w...
