Re: Replicating SRV functionality with apps that don't have integration

While this doesn't answer your question, I'm wondering if you have considered just having the different domains point to different folders on the web hosting? This is how I normally see it done. It does mean they would be sharing a numerical IP by default, but it seems you are already doing that anw...

Re: update

Windows should be able to update by default, and normally does so automatically. Does something prevent you from using Windows Update?

Re: How to change the map/resources location?

If the same models and such were intended to be used in the same location, the game should just figure out to use the files just as it did for players on the previous server. It should only be downloading them again if they are somehow different. Are you seeing a problem with files re-downloading, o...

Re: Gamer server Crashing

If the system and the game server logs are not showing much, then I'm not sure what else to suggest. Someone more familiar with the game may know of a way to get more information out of it or have a better idea of what the problem may be.

Re: Gamer server Crashing

The system logs may still hold some sort of clue in that situation, such as a driver error. I recommend checking that out as well, if you haven't already.

Re: Fatal Error (ACP Login)

In general, it would mean replacing the files with original copies. You mentioned a customized configuration though. Did this problem start when adding those customizations, or was this configuration working fine previously?

Re: Gamer server Crashing

There may be a way to enable extra logging. Which game is this regarding? Also, have you checked the OS log files as well to see if there was any system related problems at the time?

Re: Coffer donation email

Currently there is not a way to hide it, and even filling out the forum manually requires knowing the email you wish to donate to. If you have need of not having the address public, you could change the email address to a different one instead and have an email just used for your NFO account. That w...

Re: NFO Server Hosting

farukhcasy2, could you please tell us which game is this for? You didn't mention it and posted this in the general section, so there is no indication as to which game you need help with. I can move it to the appropriate section for you, once we know which game it is.

Re: Insurgency Sandstorm

Most things can either be set in the control panel or in the configs, but if there is anything specific you need set on the command line, please open a help request and we can look into changing it for you. As for rcon, I'm not sure if it can be used directly in the client console that way, but the ...

Are you certain it is set in the correct config for the game mode you are running? Also, are these same settings also in your server.cfg file (they should only be in the game mode file)?

Re: block all ports except for the ones im using

For building a custom filter, a traffic capture would be needed. Anything with an example match already has a filter applied and doesn't need any further action.

Re: block all ports except for the ones im using

Any filters you apply would need to be specifically tuned to block any attacks you are seeing. If there is a specific type of attack that you keep seeing, then you can adjust a filter for that specific attack. Otherwise, trying to guess what may work, without knowledge of what attacks you would be s...

It sounds like that person is referring to a null-route, and the statement is not true. No one likes having services offline, so we always prefer to mitigate when possible, and only null-route when necessary. If you want all of the details of when they are used and why, we talk more about null-route...
