Re: any plans on denver location?
We had a location in Denver previously, but it did not work out long-term. More than just financially, the routing was quirky. People outside the area typically routed through Dallas first, so if you wanted to have players/users from other areas and not just more localized users, it made more sense ...

There are different themes for it that you can select on the "My account" section of the control panel. There is a dark red theme that you may like.

My knowledge is also limited, so I may be way off with this. Did you test the new install before adding your copy of the databases back in?

Re: Increasing performance of a Garry's Mod Dedicated Server on a 2-core VDS
A second or less would be the sort of spikes I mean. If this is what you are running into overall, then lowering your overall CPU usage would be what is needed. That ideally means going through and optimizing all of your custom content or even re-writing the code/scripts. Faster, but less ideal solu...

Re: Increasing performance of a Garry's Mod Dedicated Server on a 2-core VDS
The closer you are to 100% the more likely you are to have tiny momentary spikes hit max usage. This will show up as a stutter or maybe a jumpy ping, getting worse as you get closer to maximum usage. Is this what you are seeing happen, or does it show different symptoms?

Re: Stumped On COD4 server
The main thing that stands out is that it cannot find the one and only map set in the rotation:
Error: Can't find map "mp_fnrp_bridge".

Re: Stumped On COD4 server
The log files may have some additional clues, otherwise I'm not sure what would be wrong with it without being able to see it. It may be worth posting on the sites for these mods to see if people more familiar with them may know what is happening.

Re: Stumped On COD4 server
Is the server not starting, or is it starting but you cannot connect to it? Are there any error messages?

Re: Server has choppy performance in linux only
That is a bit of a strange one. You could further trim the server back to match default to see if something else makes a difference, such as disabling all addons (Metamod included), set the default tickrate, default maps, and so on. Additionally, if there is another server there is another server th...

Re: NFO SERVERS WEBSITE WONT LOAD
If the forums load but the main site does not, this problem will be something specific to your connect that we will need to look at. If you haven't already, please open a "Help" request from the NFO control panel or send us an email so that we can investigate this further.
Re: Ryzen?
There has not been a large rollout, but there are a couple of AMD machines at some locations, for some uses. Options for them are still very limited.

Re: [TF2] HELP: Server crashes and restarts after loading 3 or 4 maps
You will want to look at your map sizes then and see if one of them is drastically larger than the others. If you run addons, one of them may have a memory leak also, but I would start with checking on the map sizes first.

Re: [TF2] HELP: Server crashes and restarts after loading 3 or 4 maps
There could be a few reasons for this, so you will want to check the server logs for errors, and maybe enable condebug for more information. That should help narrow down the cause. Is this one of our standard TF2 game servers? If so, you can contact us using the "Help" option in the contro...
