Re: Windows Server Core

I'm not familiar with how that runs. Have you tried running it on Windows Server Core locally at home to see how it does? If not, I recommend trying that first to see if it will work as expected and give you an idea of what remote administration will be like. At the same time, you can see how much ...

Re: Windows Server Core

Windows Server Core is not an option we typically offer. The resource footprint in actual use is not reduced as much as minimum spec sheets suggest. From a functional standpoint, it removes more than just the GUI and may remove some dependencies you require.

May I ask what game you are running on ...

Re: Wardogs?

This is the first I have heard of the game personally, but from the looks of it, it will have support for dedicated servers. If it actually supports 100 players on a destructible map, it may need some hefty hardware.

We'll have to see how it goes once it enters early access, but if it is compatible ...

Re: Using procon on my BF4 server

Having a server with those specs and using Procon are unrelated.

Procon is a remote admin/rcon tool, though it does support plugins for extra functions. It is not strictly needed to run a server, though. If you rent one of our Battlefield 4 servers, we include our own admin daemon that you could ...

Re: General questions about server hardware.

Thanks for your interest, we'd be happy to have you!

1. The servers are intended to be online 24/7 and we even have automated systems to help detect if they are unintentionally offline/crashed and will attempt to restart them after a period of time. You can intentionally shut them down, if you wish ...

Yes, you mentioned wanting to run them in your first post. My initial reply was talking about that.

Re: CoD 5 WaW how to install bots

CoD5 WaW does not have its own bots built-in, so a mod/addon of some sort is needed.

My knowledge past that point is limited. I'm not sure what mods/addons are currently available, and they would have their own directions that need to be followed for installing and configuring them. Perhaps someone ...

Re: Question About Dedicated

I'm not sure I understand the problem and I think there may be some confusion with the terminology.

Are you saying it just has Windows and no game servers in it, or is there some other problem?

An unmanaged machine will just be a bare machine with the OS installed. If there is a type of server you ...

By all means, if you have thoughts or ideas, please feel free to share them. If there are too many for one post, making a separate post for each one would make sense, as that can keep the topics organized.

Your image shows what seems to be discord or something similar and that pulled up some page ...

I'm not sure I know what you mean by "VDS public key". What method are you using to move the files over? Also, which OS is the VDS running?

Re: How to disable php warnings

If you are referring to the displaying of PHP errors, that is turned off by default, but your install may have enabled them. You will want to look for a hidden file called .htaccess (notice it starts with a dot). Inside that file you should find something like this:

php_flag display_errors On ...

Re: any plans on denver location?

We had a location in Denver previously, but it did not work out long-term. More than just financially, the routing was quirky. People outside the area typically routed through Dallas first, so if you wanted to have players/users from other areas and not just more localized users, it made more sense ...

There are different themes for it that you can select on the "My account" section of the control panel. There is a dark red theme that you may like.

My knowledge is also limited, so I may be way off with this. Did you test the new install before adding your copy of the databases back in?
