Thanks for all the help Major.Pain, somehow I got the server up and running. By any chance do you know how to configure the server to disable Tracer, 3rd Person etc. Also, what's the best way to optimize the server?

When I joined the server, it shows Create Game options. Mission Settings, Summary, Map, Difficulty and Mission. That's odd, isn't it suppose to start up DayZ?

Sounds like your launching the game exe, and not the server exe file. Do you mind sharing how you set up your server on your unmanaged machine? I've downloaded steam on the unmanaged just to download the Arma 2 and Arma 2:OA files. Also downloaded Six updater to download DayZ files and DayzCommande...

I'm trying to launch the game server but it keeps saying either "Display adapter does not support format D24S8 for R5G6B5." or "Arma 2 OA has stopped working".

Unfortunately I'm not too familiar with how to install game servers on a unmanaged VPS.

I've rented a Unmanaged VPS and I'm trying to set up that remote database shown above but when I try to open the .exe, it says "This application has failed to start because MSVCR80D.dill was not found". Can someone please help?
