I've looked online for the solution and have yet to f...

Hosting a second Team Fortress 2 server.
Hello, I currently own a virtual server that runs my Team Fortress 2 server and that is great, but the server is almost always full. I'd like to create a second one on the same machine, with the same files, so others can enjoy the experience, but I'm not sure how to do this correctly for Team Fortre...

The OS says the file is 0 KB's when there is nothing in it, 1 KB when there is 1 ban listed inside of it. The file does exist.soja wrote:does the file exist? What does the OS say the file size is?

Re: Missing Server Bans
In your server.cfg file, you will want to make sure the writeid and writeip commands are in there, usually near the bottom of the file works best. One is specifically for saving Bans by Steam ID to file, while the other command is for saving IP bans to a different file. I may have found the source ...

Re: Missing Server Bans
No, my banlist is pretty short, could you state which commands you believe may be missing exactly? Thank you for the help!TimeX wrote:Do you have a very large banlist? If not, it may just be that some commands are missing from your server.cfg file that causes bans to be saved to file after each map change.

Missing Server Bans
Hello, on occasion I have now noticed that a permaban I gave out not too long ago was missing from both the banned_user.cfg, and the banned_ip.cfg. I'm not sure what rolled back these bans, but upon testing it out with a moderator, the same issue happened again after a day. I'm not sure why my bans ...

Re: Server Crash On Map Change
I believe after actually taking some more time into it that I managed to fix that issue, however my directory structure is: C:\Game installs\sourcebase\orangebox So, taking into account that everything should be fully updated now, the server map crash gives an error notice whenever the crash happens...

Server Crash On Map Change
Hello, I seem to be having a recent and serious issue with my server. Upon the Team Fortress 2 update on 10/17, every time my server changes map it crashes. This is not being caused by an outdated sourcemod, Metamod, SDKHooks, or plugins. I have attempted to run the server with no plugins once-so-ev...

Re: Help with HTTP Fast Download Server
Ahh, thanks for that, however now I am stumped on this next issue. When checking for my subdomain, it tells me that it is this: nukaserver.site.nfoservers.com Does this mean that my sv_downloadurl cvar should be this? sv_downloadurl "http://nukaserver.site.nfoservers.com.nuclearfallout.net/serv...
