have you tried removing the large plugins your server is running 1 by 1 to see if the preformance improves and possibly isolate if it is one of the plugins causing this issue ?

random question do you use any dispersion systems or do you guys just manually deal with ddos attacks ? im glad i havnt had any so far on my server but was just curious about this =)
