Re: BF4 on VDS
We've had a hell of a time with these same lag issues. Our team has probably spent 50+ man hours investigating and troubleshooting over the past month and have not come up with any solutions. The problems persist even when we turn off all RCON clients (Procon, gameme.stats, etc.) and anti-cheat stre...

Sync banlists between servers
I was wondering what you guys use to synchronize your banlists (pbbans.dat and banlist.txt) between your various servers? We just recently opened a 2nd server and would like it if the banlists were automatically synchronized between our servers. We know about metabans, but we don't add all of our ba...

Re: Temporary Ban timer off?
Is it possible that the time on the machine that the game server is running on drifts from time to time causing our timers to be off? We have had issues with the time on our VDS drifting, but we fixed that by starting the Windows Time service to keep in sync with the internet time.

Temporary Ban timer off?
We have been seeing this odd issue when we temporary ban someone (either through EA GUID or Alias) the timer runs for much longer than the original time. For instance, if we set a temp ban for 2 weeks, it will usually last much longer (almost a week longer). Has anyone seen this type of issue before...

Question about Favorites List visibility
I've tried to search for an official answer to this question, but couldn't find one. If we were to move one of our servers to another location (Chicago to Dallas), would our server still be on everyone's favorites list, or would they have to find it again in the server list and re-add it as a favori...

Re: Blaze & Player Dumps!
Looks like we had a disconnect tonight around 7:10PM Pacific. Anyone else experience this? Server was full, and everyone got booted.

VDS time jumping ahead by 25 minutes
We have been having a recurring issue of the time on our unmanaged VDS jumping ahead by about 25 minutes. We have the time set to sync with time.nist.gov, but every so often it seems to get off about 25 minutes. It's more of an annoyance since the times on some of our logs get a little off and debug...

Re: Question about Expansion packs
Thanks,
So I assume that if we are running with just Stock Vanilla maps in the rotation, then anyone with Battlefield 3 should be able to join.

Question about Expansion packs
We currently are running a map list that includes Armored Kill and Aftermath in the rotation. At low populations we run just Vanilla maps that are included in the base game. We have had reports of people being unable to join when the Vanilla rotation was active. We have also had reports that People ...

Server time
Hey all. Just got a Win 2012 VDS. I set the time to be Pacific time (-2 hours, and the server is located in Chicago) from the NFO web control panel. It doesn't seem to have affected the server time, though. The server clock is 2h 50m ahead of Pacific Time despite the NFO control panel setting. I als...

Procon Layer Servers
Hi all, We run our ProCon through a layer server. We're currently use Gameservers.com and before that we were using Rconhostingservices.net. Both were not anywhere near the level of support or reliability of our NFO game server. I was wondering if it's normal for ProCon layers to drop connection now...

Re: Adaptive Server Size and Battlelog bug (player count)
Today my server got stuck on 64 people using Adaptive Server Size plugin. In Procon it was listed as 42/48 or some other similar <64 maximum. I think it does indeed make it a bit more difficult to grow when there is such a large gap. I'd rather have it get stuck at 64 than something like 32 though. :)
