I've been having trouble running two different minecraft server at the same time (one is tekkit the other is bukkit) on a ubuntu server. Sudo command not working

Every time I try to do a sudo command on an Ubuntu server I get this error:

sudo: unable to resolve host shadowlandsmc

This includes logged onto root. Please help because it's posing a huge problem

How do you manually get rid of java? Also, these are the java's I have on the ubuntu server:

The program 'java' can be found in the following packages:
* default-jre
* gcj-4.6-jre-headless
* openjdk-6-jre-headless
* gcj-4.5-jre-headless
* openjdk-7-jre-headless
