Re: dod anti scripts/ hack
I believe source mod anti cheat (Smac) works with DOD:S You can also use smacbans plugin as well. It bans anyone who has been banned by smac on other servers http://www.smacbans.com Zblock also helps with minimal stuff. It should be in your auto install tab. I have 0 experience with did:s but all so...

Re: New dedicated offering
Hey yeah, I've decided to go with the same e3-1271 v3. I thought about E5 1660 core option but that is only available in dallas ATM. Having said that, I do believe 1271 v3 overall is a better choice compared to e5-1660. I dont think most games thrive very well with multi-threading just yet (someone ...

Re: Issues with sourcebans web admin
solved my own issue.
Changing TF2 ID format caused this problem in a recent update. Here is the link for future reference incase anyone finds themselves in the same predicament.

Issues with sourcebans web admin
Im not sure how long this has been going on but when a kick or ban is issued using webadmin the I get a message stating player is no longer in the server, an error. I did some research, found some possible fixes but to no avail. It works fine for CS:S server but not TF2. Anyone here has any ideas? T...

Re: Help picking the right package!
Hey,
You could also put in a support ticket to have you on their best VDS specs available (e3 1270 v1 to v3) for example.

Re: Inflating player count on Ranked servers.
Let me get this straight
You claimed you used the same type of concept (same objective) they are using in bf2 and bf3.
Now that you dont have access to it, you start to complain?
Okay buddy
And the server you mentioned appear normal to me I just checked.
I'm done with this good luck with EA

Re: Inflating player count on Ranked servers.
Not trolling. I am well familiar with it's use. Yes it isn't reporting correctly because their idlers never actually join in game so it reports incorrect data. They are stuck on the loading screen in battlelog, rinse and repeat with a script. This is how battlelog authentication works and so does BF...

Re: Inflating player count on Ranked servers.
They are real accounts, paid to EA, opened up brand new origin accounts and using a script to autojoin.
They paid EA a lot of money by doing this buying BF4 multiple times.
I understand what you are saying but they aren't breaking any rules. If you run a good server you will do just fine.

Re: Need some help on procon
We use both paid version of rconnet and procon. I had issues with procon layer hosting with certain provider since that was introduced in bc2 (purepings/hyp) was not the one I used. I find it easier (dont ask me why) to rent a VDS (one core) to do my procon hosting there instead. Procon has various ...

Re: Inflating player count on Ranked servers.
There is nothing violating about what these servers do. This has been available and common since BF2. We've also done this in BF2/2142 The trick? It's script to put your characters in the server without the need to actually click mouse button. They are real players and real accounts. If you know cod...

Re: Would the E3-1270v3 full machine be able to handle this?
Not sure if it helps but I run 4 tf2 32 slots servers and bunch of bf4/bf3 servers. TF2 adds a small percentage in cpu consumption (for me) I also run about 7-8 plugins. I dont have replay though.
