Re: NFO Openvpn Client ddwrt

The hardest part should be the VPN setup itself, but the first link I posted is pretty straight forward. That utility makes it fairly point and click. I've also never setup OpenVPN on DD-WRT, but this section http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/OpenVPN#OpenVPN_in_DD-WRT in the second link indicates...

Re: NFO Openvpn Client ddwrt

Yes, you would just need to setup an OpenVPN server on your VDS with us, then configure your router to connect to said VPN server.

This guide should help with the configuring on the router side.

Re: NS2 Managed Linux?

There are many more factors here then downloading and preparing the base files, but yes, some staff do a similar task already to ease the process. A single core Linux server is still a viable option. As the developer stated 12-14 slots, and with our virtual servers I feel you could squeeze more out ...

Re: What you need to know about the recent compromise here

I'd argue that a lot of companies regardless of size are susceptible to attacks that include unannounced/unknown vulnerabilities. I would not have expected a security audit to have found those unannounced/unknown vulnerabilities either, though, I suppose it is possible. I would also not consider the...

Re: Rust server losing progress

We just gracefully shutdown the server through Windows. I think it's Rust that doesn't save on shutdown which is why you'd be seeing lost progress after reboots. I also believe the save interval is done in seconds, not minutes.

Re: Insurgency Spawn Protection?

I haven't heard of this myself with INS, but you may be able to achieve this using some type of SM plugin. Anything labeled as spawn protection should work.

Re: Gmod Webshop DL errors

Have you identified what models are giving players errors? if so, check and make sure that they are added to your force download file. You may also want to be sure that the models are downloading to the server by enabling -condebug via the server control tab in your control panel and viewing your se...

Re: Battlefield 1 server rental prices revealed

Those prices seem decent, but I don't see any mention of at what slot size those will be. I have a feeling the slot size will be locked to an ideal size they picked. Note: One of the top requested features if the Kick/Ban feature. We hear you and are working on rolling that out after the launch of t...

I don't believe Rust currently support passwords, at least not without some form of Oxide plugin.

Re: Third Person - Resurgency - SOCOM Maps - Set up Help

Based on that config, it looks like the only commands you'd need to add would be.. mp_theater_override "resurgence" sv_hud_targetindicator_party_color "132 150 28 255" sv_hud_targetindicator_party_obstruct 0 sv_hud_targetindicator_squad_color "83 157 178 255" sv_hud_tar...

Re: CS:S Voting to change map

IIRC Sourcemod has this functionality built in. You just need to move the specific plugins from the "plugins-disabled" folder to "plugins" in your servers FTP. More information on those is actually detailed on the SM wiki. https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Map_Management_Plugins_(Sourc...

Re: Third Person - Resurgency - SOCOM Maps - Set up Help

From my research, you should just need to enter these commands once entering a SOCOM server. c_thirdpersonshoulder 1 c_thirdpersonshoulderaimdist 1000 c_thirdpersonshoulderheight 20 c_thirdpersonshoulderoffset 0 cam_idealdelta 0 cam_ideallag 0 You should also be able to put these into a config and m...

Re: [CS:S] How to enable Spray?

They should be enabled by default, but make sure your server.cfg has mp_decals set to 100. The player is also going to want to make sure that they have cl_playerspraydisable set to 0 on their end.
