Re: GTA 5
Officially, doubtful. Though from hearsay there's 3rd party modifications in the works, but that'd probably be more something to run on a unmanaged VDS as I doubt NFO is going to support the 3rd party modifications to avoid an array of issues.

Re: High CPU
If it's a VDS, the process isn't being killed by NFO as the resources are yours to use for what you want(within the terms of service). That being said, you should check the applications logs and see if there is anything logged that'd help you track down the issue.

You haven't clarified how they're supposed to show. However, there are tons of tutorials online about html buttons using CSS.

Re: out of memory your swap file is too small NEED HELP
Just to add to this topic. Nfo doesn't have swap memory by default. We don't enable it by default because when customers hit swap that is very bad for the performance of other customers on the same machine, but you can do it if you wish. It's not really necessary or recommended. If you use swap, it...

Re: out of memory your swap file is too small NEED HELP
If you have to run off SWAP, you don't have enough memory. You should check your memory usage via 'free -m'.

Re: DDos attack null route.
You could try requesting a second ip that isnt getting targeted and use that for the time being nfo ddos ability is limited they can only handle upto 40Gbps in seattle the other locations are less. Only? You're gonna be hard pressed to find another host that offers what NFO does in terms of DDoS pr...

Re: Frankfurt VS USA?
The price of servers in Frankfurt is a bit higher simply because the cost of doing business is higher in Frankfurt. AFAIK all of NFO's locations deal with attacks in similar ways. Locations with higher capacities will withstand large attacks better than NFO's smaller capacity locations. Frankfurt is...

Re: Backup
I'd definitely recommend a Linux-only VDS as Edge100x said. If you're running Linux on the dedicated machine you could run rsync to make the backups the most efficient.

Re: Sent mail goes to users spam folder
I would definitely make a support ticket regarding this so that NFO can investigate the cause of this and remedy it.Chris Lenga wrote:It appears the IP address I'm associated with is only blocked on two spam services.

Make sure you're configuring the plugin to use the correct port. Is the TS server from NFO?

Re: Cerious101's trolling
This isn't really the place for drama and this doesn't have much to do with NFO. Whoever wrote that post is just giving the attackers attention and that's what they thrive off of. Letting the attacker know that the server rank is being ruined is just going to make them continue. While letting people...

I've never had to visit the control panel from my phone, but I can see where you're coming from. My guess is that for the near future, this isn't really viable from a implementation perspective, but I could be wrong.

Re: HTTPS -> HTTP redirect
I'll throw in my 2 cents. In order for this to work, you'd need a SSL certificate installed to the server and configured, or a self signed one which would produce errors that ward off anyone that doesn't know exactly what the error/warning means. Therefore, in order to add a redirect that would even...

Re: What version of PHP are we running?
As Soja said, you can add a PHP test page. Simple make a file such as test.php and add the following code to it:
Code: Select all
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
