If you are not providing advice for anyone to help them fix their issue, please do not post. We get a lot of unecessary posts that take up space and it makes it difficult to filter who needs help and who doesn't.

Thank you.

I think it is a novel idea. I know of some people who live in the Pacific NW who may not have the extra cash for Internap in Seattle but might not have desirable latency to Level 3 LA when that is the only location they can afford. If it is cost effective for NFo to do it, then go for it!

The Steam update that was scheduled to roll out today had mention of a fix to the HTTP fast downloading that would use the trickle down method if a file was missing from the HTTP server. Whether this works or not is another story and I am not sure if this update was applied to the HLDS update that w...

Sal and I went through some hell, but I have the HTTP fast download stuff down like a dream and was able to get him fully operational. I think the most vital thing about this new way of transfering content would be to use res files. I have gotten a lot of maps from the author's websites that are sti...

I have found that if a server running amx has restmenu.amx running then it will block autobuy from working. The awp limiter may also contribute, but restmenu.amx is also suspect to the issue.

If you have installed any custom player or weapon skins the players may appear as standing up and swimming in place after they have been killed. I had this problem when steam first came out because it migrated all of my CSRealism skins to the steam directory and they were incompatible with 1.6 and s...

yes, we are using an awp limiter. rebuy will take a snapshot of the equipment that you have been using and will attempt to buy the same items for you. bind a key to the command "rebuy" and it will do this. i don't use it, so i cannot vouch for saying that is does work on our server. i just...

Adminmod has more options to be amazingly cruel to problematic players, but AMX has pretty much everything you can do with Adminmod. We run both Adminmod and AMX on our server. As far as functionality, accessibility, and expandability I prefer AMX. I like to think of AMX as being a combination of Ad...

Peep this ownage.

We have rented our server for quite awhile from NFo. I came into the clan after the server had been up for a long time and pretty much keep the server maintained for the clan now. Whenever I break something on the server, I always have someone in the support channel ready and willing to help me fix ...

There is a beta release of AMX mod that is working pretty well for us right now. Version 0.9.8a is the latest beta and it is also made up of the high performance release that was compiled for 0.9.7 as well. I am noticing only one problem that I am not sure is related to the new version or a plugin r...

The earthquake was in Cali today, around noon sometime. Our server is a0a.nuclearfallout.net and I have also had a few spikes here and there myself. I am located in Central Oregon so it could be part of my routing with my ISP but I do know that my ISP has centralized offices in Seattle for our bandw...
