Just remember that the DDoS attacks are also affecting other GSP's as well, not just NFO. They are handling it very well in my opinion.

The same guy(s) are taking down the League of Legends login servers. They took down the NA, EU, and Ocean servers today.

The reason that the DDoS is affecting everyone is that the connection from the server to InterNAP is being flooded with pings, which in turn causes everyone's lag. Everything is routed from InterNAP to the NFO servers.

I recommended to him that he should try disabling MetaMod and SourceMod. I have read somewhere that it may cause a problem on some servers.

I have seen this problem when I tried to define a custom mapgroup in the gamemodes_server.txt

Make sure that everything is defined correctly in that.

That could be a BattleLog error, but I could be wrong. All I know is that after I posted, he posted on his twitter that it should kick in. I had the NFO network page open, and the InterNAP connection to the New York server said (Unavailable) which lead me to believe that he did something to a server...

Whoever has been launching these super-large attacks has been has been targeting one popular BF4 server after another. More likely, to me, is that someone is hitting some of the more popular servers in Gametracker to try to push up their own ranking. Having a server down for 24 hours will hurt its ...

This is to prevent further issues with other people that are on the same datacenter. It is frustrating because that will kill your server ranks.
