Oh I know full well. There is a reason this is the first battlefield game I've bought since BF2. There is also a reason that I refuse to give Blizzard any of my money after being called an exploiter and defamed by one of their gamemasters because one of their dungeons broke in the middle of our raid...

Well... they have 91 clans signed on with 174 servers... totaling almost 9,500 slots...

We are looking at going to one of NFO's hosted mumble server options instead of running TS3/Mumble on our own unmanaged VM... What is the setup/server control like for the hosted option?

There is going to be a protest going on this month run by other dissatisfied server owners...

Were you running evolve servers during the beta? And what kind of resources was it using? Is it something that would run on a VDS?

Looks like tapatalk got compromised... The thread on their forums says the attack vector was wordpress.

It is my understanding that the server has to now be restarted to adjust the player count... so you will be stuck at 8 slots until it is restarted. (possibly a mapchange will adjust the count as well but i haven't bothered to test it)

It's my understanding to get the full player count yes you need to uncheck that box and manually set the number.

Very well put edge, and you guys have been fantastic to us. We are just really disapointed with the slime oozing out of EA/Dice.

Has anyone else noticed that people don't seem to be making it into the game? Our server keeps trying to fill up, and I see people joining via battlelog and console. But only a small fraction of those people seem to make it into the game.

They have always been that way. I think it might be part of their corporate mantra. They did this back when they took over Ultima from origin, and they wind up killing that game off too with the same type of ideas

We may just cancel ours if it winds up being empty... damn EA it's like they are actively trying to kill this game.

Anytime Cain. I've also noticed even when playing on other 64 player servers it seems to really push the limits of what the BF4 game engine can handle. My only hope is that EA does a far better job with battlefront next year... We run CQ Large on a couple maps just fine, Zavod being one of them, loc...

That's very unfortunate that intel is taking that route especially considering when you leverage the advantage of DDR4 ram. It would have been nice to see them throw us a bone.

Speaking of hardware when are you guys gonna roll out the new e5 series v3's?
