How to use parameters.txt
When using a large number of mods, the -mod= line can get cut off on the server's startup line. For this, you would use a parameters.txt file to hold more items than the startup line can. Inside this file, add mods using the following syntax: -mod=Mod1;Mod2;Mod3; These are added without spaces, usin...

Re: Lost connection with database
What is the physical location of your server? This would generally only happen if the connection times out, usually from sending/requesting a large number of rows, or if there was some connection issue between the locations, mid-transmission.

Re: Server Location Change/Upgrade
Fortunately, the order page will ignore the operating system selection for the purpose of change order, to prevent just that. The only way to have the system erase data on a VDS would be to reinstall the operating system from the Server Control tab of your VDS control panel. You are correct that cha...

Re: VPN on NFO
If you wanted a VDS in another location, you would need to order a new VDS in that location. It's not possible to have an IP address from multiple locations on a single VDS.

Re: VPN on NFO
A single core Linux-only VDS with a single IP is often more than enough for most VPNs.

You can also consider reducing the tickrate, which is directly related to CPU usage.

What problems are you experiencing with it, specifically?

Re: File Manager
You'll want to make sure that the folder path listed in the "points to" input box of the Domains tab of your webhosting control panel matches the folder tree created. If you open a request from the Help! tab in your control panel, we can definitely help get it recreated properly.

Re: Rust Server - Nothing is working
After adding yourself as an admin in the server, did you make sure to to use the "server.writecfg" command so that it saves the changes to disk?

Re: Managed dedicated Server 4 Core?
Unfortunately not. As prices have decreased, we've needed to increase the minimum number of cores for a managed service. Fortunately, however, a managed 6-core VDS is still less expensive than a 4-core VDS was.

Re: How to get the Valentines Day event to load on server?
The Ark events are provided through beta branch builds of the game server, which we historically don't support (and would take some effort to support only for these specific events). To run beta builds of game servers, a customer would need to use an unmanaged service like a VDS or full machine.

Re: Server Location Change/Upgrade
Also, importantly, moving to another location will only work for unmanaged VDSs. It's not possible to move a managed VDS (because it involves multiple packages), but we do have a workaround we can explain to anyone needing to do this if they open a support request.

How do I connect to my server?
A records appear to not resolve correctly (yet) in Battalion 1944 servers, so you would want to use the plain IP address to connect. This can be found on the Description tab of your game server control panel. The format would be: connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:7777 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx would be replaced by the ...
