Re: Battlefield 1 Servers
We don't have any information on BF1 hosting at the moment, but as soon as we have anything that we can share we'll definitely pass it along.

Re: Frankfurt and Chicago vps teamspeak
This isn't going to necessarily solve your problem, but in theory you could setup two Teamspeak servers in each location, then have a client install on your VDS. You could then setup a bot to connect to both servers and just pass sound back and forth. The delay will still be there, but your players ...

Re: DarkRP Server Crashing Every Hour
When did this crashing start occurring, and were any recent changes made to the server around that time? Also, what do your server logs say when the server crashes?
Re: Question
Are you referring to your credit card security? If so, all credit card information is transmitted to us via SSL using up to 256-bit encryption to ensure that it is not intercepted. It is stored in our system in an encrypted database on a separate LAN that is accessible only from our webserver. Infor...

Re: SRCDS
SRCDS uses single core. How can we achieve more performance ? What is the maximum amount of Mbps SRCDS uses ? I see 4 Mbps on my friend's VDS. We have unmanaged linux Debian server. When I type net_graph 4 I see that the sv variable shows 900 to 800. And on other servers that are ordered through no...

This new addition was announced here.

But, yes, the cost of Windows licensing kept skyrocketing and we just could not financially justify absorbing the cost any longer :/

Re: Managed VPS
What the OS is currently using doesn't matter. 400MB is just the amount you want to leave available at all times.

Another customer of ours passed along his fix for this issue! You must be running a playlist on the server or it'll only show up in the legacy browser.

//nwi/mp_recruit //pvp softcore
//nwi/coop //coop hardcore

Re: Rust support on managed linux
Last time we checked Rust on Linux was fairly broken. I did some recent checking and players indicated it had a few bug, such as crashing several times per day with no reason, randomly not booting, or EAC issues.

Re: VDSes get more bandwidth at lower prices
We appreciate that! A lot people also forget that we routinely lower VDS pricing. I think we do roughly 2-3 permanent price drops per year on virtuals that many people take for granted. I think we're the only company in the market which consistently lowers prices, and even grandfathers them in, it ...

Re: VDSes get more bandwidth at lower prices
Managed virtual servers being limited to a single IP is something that is coming. For obvious reasons this change is coming slowly as our system was never designed to support this, so it's complicated to rework everything. I imagine we'll continue allowing separate IP addresses for managed systems, ...

Re: vbulletin spam registration
This is definitely a lot of spam! but are you actually seeing an issue here? It looks like your software is doing a pretty good job on detecting and blocking it. As a general tip, try adding a custom profile field to the registration form. Something like "Who owns Valve?". Hopefully, every...

Re: Managed VPS
That amount is the minimum amount you'll want to leave available at all times, this it to prevent the OS from swapping to disk which will not only kill your performance, but can hurt the performance of the overall machine.
