1)do u have a 32 slot server so i can test out to see if server lags at 32 player? Well, I wouldn't recommend running a 32 player server without the ping accelerator in place. We have a server that does and is at Verio LA. It is chernobyl.nuclearfallout.net. It tends to be full 24/7, so hopefully yo...

Remember, I (Edge) usually can't check my emails until the evening due to the fact that the Army works me hard. I believe there is a utility to uninstall phpbb and remove all tables. Or, you could use a different prefix, such as "forums" instead of "phpbb" and just let both stay ...

Upgrading phpBB is easy. You could upgrade your old forums; or, you could just install the old version on your nfo site, and then upgrade after the import.

It's likely that they had errors, or that you're not running the right program to compile. What does the program output?

That will not change, no. Many more forums use php than use asp. I recommend phpbb, personally, as a simple forums package with a professional feel that is easy to set up and configure. You might also consider ikonboard, which we use on our community site. Both are free, and there are many other for...

Make sure that the versions match before you export and import. That would present a problem. ;)

That's unfortunate. e-check is much better. My preference would have been to steer the individual in that direction.

If you have admin mod, create a file called scoutzknivez.cfg in your main server directory and put the map-specific settings there.

You should never keep lag problems to yourself. Always email us a tracert so that we can look into it and try to get it fixed. Especially with Internap servers, where we have the best shot of rerouting. Also, my recommendation is that you not purchase from Charter. They have a notoriously bad networ...

The UT2k3 web administration page included with the game is flakey at best. Yes, I would recommend shutting down your server and then editing ut2003.ini.

Re: I am looking into renting a server, please help...

I was just curious if i would need to buy the ping accelerator or the CPU priority dealy to help much? The ping accelerator would decrease your ping by about 10. CPU priority wouldn't be noticable most of the time. Personally, I'd recommend getting the accelerator and skipping high priority. ANd wh...
