One of the reasons I have not bothered to buy this game is the fact it does not appear that public servers will be made available. Those that are advertising are probably hopeful it will happen. I would not hold my breath though.

While it certainly does meet all the requirements for NFO hosting, it unfortunately is not in very high demand. It is unlikely NFO would spend the time and resources setting this up in their system for this reason. You would be better off buying an unmanaged VDS for yourself and hosting that way.

Makes sense, but damn. When you launch that server it bogs down my entire monster Chicago box. Needs to be addressed asap. First time I thought the box crashed and did a forced reboot of the box. Its ridiculous. Especially as often as there are updates.
