Yea this effectively kills off my server. They had to know this would be a major impact on small slot servers so its intentional IMHO. I'll be in a holding pattern for now. That's pretty much how one of my servers works. It's a deathmatch server with a 32man limit. When the map changes it basically kicks enough people off to bring it down to 23/24 when the round starts. From there the process repeats itself over and over.

What has worked for me and my community is giving player incentives. Our BF3 servers gives away prizes to players on a monthly cycle. Most kills, most knife kills, and points at the end of the month are all eligible for cash prizes.

Its a big investment financially, but it helps us stand out.
