Re: TF2 Halloween Update
Our server in the east coast took about an hour to download using the command line on a linux server. We were getting really frustrated in Teamspeak lol. John, could you design it to push the updates from a NFO server? Or would doing that make it take even longer. Ex: Single NFO server gets the upda...

Re: Half-Life 2: Deathmatch Choke
Sorry to raise an old thread, but I see you still have your server up. You may want to try this: net_maxcleartime .01 That fixes the small amount of choke we see on our 60 slot ZE server. Also note that even though net_splitpacket_maxrate is 100k, you will see choke before you hit 100k of data, rais...

Re: Simple server query
I was looking for just NFOs script returning active/possible players.
So the NFO script would return:
55/60
only.
The rest would be static text

Simple server query
Mainly for john, but if anyone else can do this, great. I saw your post http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3733 about querying servers. My question is, could you modify that script so instead of showing http://www.nfoservers.com/query/example3.html with the minimal style, it c...

Re: Anyone here tried to create a cloud vps servers?
In relation to what icewolf was saying earlier, is it possible to provide a cdn-type system for game server redirect hosting? Something simple like if client is in the uk, it uses a uk based web server, in the us it uses a us based web server? Our server for redirect usually can do over 10mbit to an...
Re: Problem
Chances are the mod was broken with the update, as with everything.
I don't know where TTT was released, but id say keep an eye out for the devs to release a GMOD 13 version

Re: Bringing a server back to life?
What kind of TF2 server is it? I don't think nfo will care if you post the server in this context, if they do they will remove it, they wont disable your account or anything. If it is a stock TF2 server (24 slot on a valve quickplay-supported map) you can take advantage of the quickplay system. Get ...

It will be a few hours after that, he said he will send the files to valve at that time, but valve will take a few hours to release
