Well we aren't really charging for the installation, we're charging for the extra cpu/bandwidth such plugins and all their trappings can use. If you'd like to talk to me about it more, email me at edge100x@nuclearfallout.net ;)

Are you referring to InterNAP Seattle or to Verio LA? Could you email me your IP address and a traceroute from your machine to the server (IP address is most important)?

I have no idea on that plugin, unless you are referring to botman's stripper2 (http://www.planethalflife.com/botman/stripper2.shtml). 8O

New stats method

We are testing a new method of scheduling stats compiles that should be more reliable and easier to set up for us. If you have any problems over the next few days with your stats not working correctly (generally, if they're not compiling), please tell me.

We just upgraded to 100mbit, right around that time. I posted some news about it now.

For fastest response times, I recommend that you email me!

InterNAP upgraded to 100mbit

Today, at around 7:30pm, we upgraded our InterNAP Seattle bandwidth to 100mbit full duplex. There was a brief interruption of service while they completed the switch. If you have a server at InterNAP, you should experience less lag and less packet loss as a result of the upgrade. Please email me any...

Verio outage

We're currently (as of 3:22pm) undergoing a complete connectivity outage at Verio. This outage began at around 2:50pm this afternoon. I am being told that the core Verio backbone router in LA is offline at this point, for unknown reasons. I will be getting more information to you as we get it. Updat...

Now it is saying that the file itself is writable by others. You may want to have another look at the FAQ ;)

I'll go check it again. That's what it said last time, but you may have other errors as well.

Verio problems

We've had some rather serious problems today at Verio -- we had a few instances where all servers lost connection for several minutes at a time. We've contacted our upstream about it and apparently they had a massive power spike that fried much of their switching equipment. They are currently having...

The directory containing YaBB.cgi is writable by others. Make sure that no one else has write permission to it. I recommend that you chmod 755 it. (I'll add this to the FAQ.)

InterNAP bandwidth upgrade

We will be increasing the bandwidth at our InterNAP Seattle location to 100mbit (from its current 10mbit) starting in about a week. This will enable us to run more servers at InterNAP Seattle, should make DoS attacks less effective, and may reduce pings slightly.
