Re: Nfo hosting BattleBit Remastered
Anything we don't officially host someone could always host themselves using one of our unmanaged VDS servers, as long as the hardware requirements aren't anything crazy and the customer is willing to put in the extra work. I think the game FAST is talking about is one of those games that only has ...

Re: New login session
This happened again. Sadly, I did not have my browser tools open.
However, I did happen to notice the URL. Which was https://www.nfoservers.com/control/logi ... d%20needed - is this a clue?

Re: 2-step verification support
This was about a year and a half ago. I mentioned to him that the Facebook page was posting things the forums were not, and he seemed surprised it was still being used at all. At this time, https://www.facebook.com/nfoservers would immediately server-side redirect you to the login screen. Now, it ju...

Re: 2-step verification support
It is needed, https://www.facebook.com/nfoservers has a popup telling you to login and it used to directly redirect you to the login screen. Even mbasic.facebook.com the only way to use Facebook without proprietary code makes you log in. I was asking because I thought all annoucements were here but ...

Re: 2-step verification support
Also, could you consider stopping announcements that are exclusive to Facebook? "Delete facebook" is a very popular thing and I would have never had one in the first place if it weren't for NFO servers. Facebook also makes you have an account just to read them. I would appreciate if you co...

Re: 2-step verification support
if you do ever combine them, will we know in advance? Currently my NFO login and NFO forums login use different emails so if they were combined without warning it might cause issue for me. I am glad to see more priority issues fixed though; slowly but steadily

Re: 2-step verification support
Nice, will you be bringing MFA to the forums as well? The forums are a completely seperate software on a completely seperate login. I do think a unified login would be simpler especially because email is becoming less of an identifier in modern times and adding usernames to NFO logins would be usef...

Re: Announcement: 2FA support is available on Control Panel
Ah, I was looking at the buttons for the mini login form on the homepage. It is a bit confusing that there are two ways to log in, but I found it now

Re: Announcement: 2FA support is available on Control Panel
It's just a similar thing that happened. Neopets forced a password reset for all accounts, and if you no longer had access to your email you were permanently locked out. I was under the impression that password resets via payment source had been removed. Is it put back? I do not see the option on ht...

Re: Announcement: 2FA support is available on Control Panel
Yes, it has been available and infact it was forcefully enabled for any account that hadn't logged in between 2022-03-19 and 2023-03-19. Which is sad because it can lock people out of their accounts permanently if they no longer have access to their email, like what happened with Neopets

Re: New login session
This doesn't seem to have happened since. Might just be active ongoing work on the login system. Or it might be because of the client-side expiration differing from the server side. Does the backend expire session tokens or does it just rely on the cookie going away like it did with the password one...

Re: New login session
This has happened again. Even though the three-month box was checked when I logged in, I'm not logged in anymore.
Next time I open the control panel I will open the network tab first to see what my browser and NFO are doing

Re: New login session
No, my IP address never changed. Is the "browser string" the user agent? If so that didn't change either.
