How can I run Tekkit and FeedTheBeast?
We've had a few requests for this and after a lot of fidgeting, I've come up with a reliable method. Stop your server. Connect to the FTP of your game server. Delete everything inside your server folder, with the exception of exec_id.jar (Which you cannot delete), including server.properties and all...

Re: Server concern
Are you referring to a Source/OB server? This no longer applies to those, as back in October, Valve changed the way fps functions, locking those servers to 66fps/tick

Re: Do BF3 Servers Auto-Restart?
Also, this can happen right after a Blaze dropout, if it hadn't restarted earlier, so this can sometimes be mistaken as a crash. Blaze disconnects, all your players disconnect, so the system sees an empty server and restarts it.

Yeah, I saw this earlier. I couldn't help but notice there was no line that said "Made Blaze and Battlelog not suck"

Re: The 20% off deal for switching to NFO is back!
Our prices are already competitive as it is and the quality of our hardware and network require that charge at a slight premium to other hosts to make any profit. What you're kind of asking is for the Cadillac dealer to match the price of the Kia dealer down the road. (Yes, we are the Cadillac. *fle...

Re: making server size changes
You can do this two ways. You can use the change order to order a two pack, making two 32 slot servers, or you can use the change order to lower the slots on one to 32 slots, then order a new 32 slot server. Both options would be done from: https://www.nfoservers.com/order.php To make the order affe...

Re: New sale on game servers!
Indeed, sometimes (At least in the case of Minecraft), the packages themselves have changed, so they would have to choose a new package in order to get the lower price, which they may not want to do. Also, to the same effect, if for some reasons prices have to go up, we don't increase everyone's pri...

Re: Servers run Java 1.6
Yes, every plugin SHOULD be built against 1.5, actually, in case it's running on a Mac (Which doesn't affect us here, but there are a number of Mac-based servers). So anyone who compiles a plugin requiring 1.7 is not coding in the best interest of all the players and you should stay away from it.

Re: New sale on game servers!
It won't be just when you renew the subscription. You'll have to go to the order page and submit a change order. You can leave everything as it is now, as long as there is a change in price, it'll tell you and go into affect on your next billing cycle.

Yes, that is correct. It's also named on the tab for your server in the control panel on the left side.

Re: Help with phpMyAdmin and HLStats
Once in phpMyAdmin, click on the database name, then click on Export on the top. This will let you create a .sql file that will include both the database structure and the data within those tables. Once you've downloaded the .sql file, you can use the import function on the new database and simply u...

Re: Bukkit Plugin Repository
The one I posted is at the same site, but there are server mods (plugins) and client mods. Client mods aren't relevant to the servers. So I saved you a step, because people might not make the leap from server mods to plugins.

Where can I find resources for Bukkit plugins?
Fortunately, the people at bukkit.org have created a one stop shop for plugins for you. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/ This page will allow you to browse all approved plugins, search for specific pages and will always have the most recent, most stable versions of all Bukkit plugins. If you are h...
