They won't do it sadly You're going to have to set it up all over again, but this time you can backup your settings, groups etc..

Can you try net_maxfilesize "64". Then post your console dmp.
Are people joining the server ok with the first map? Or is it when map changes?

Re: FastDL server dont work
Your gamemodes_server.txt should look like this. Also maybe it could be the map got corrupted. Are you using 7-zip? I definitely think it's the gamemodes_server.txt file, post yours. "GameModes_Server.txt" { "gameTypes" { "classic" { "gameModes" { "compet...

Re: FastDL server dont work
Causes for 'missing map': -if dl url is not empty but there is no fast dl version -older versions with same name (might give "map differs from server's") -map name too big (30 chars or so) -map size above net_maxfilesize (default is 16, not 64) -capitalization can cause problems also -addi...

Re: Why can't I compile plugins with spcomp.exe?
What version of sourcemod are you using? It looks like you're missing something, maybe a .inc file or ext. Check the plugins thread and see if it requires something else for compiling.

Use mysql --print-defaults after restarting to see that your settings have taken effect. And post it. Are you hosting mysql yourself? Things to do: Check the ifconfig -a output on the MySQL server to check if there are errors. Check to see if you have enough memory allocated to mysql. Try raising ne...

Re: Thinking of migrating to NFO
You get one ip then buy an extra 2 and have two servers per ip with a different port. Nothing wrong with having different ports ex. 27015/27016

my.cnf or my.ini is fine. If I remember correctly you don't edit mysqld.cnf.

Re: Communication Packets
It's a network/firewall issue. Try raising the max_allowed_packet to a much larger number, since the default is 1M.
Keep us updated!
Code: Select all
To set the max_allowed_packet to 256M, you can add it to /etc/my.cnf or my.ini
[mysqld]
max_allowed_packet=256M

Re: How to update server?
In the game server list choose Rust (with all optional updates). Not sure if this replaces the original rust files or creates a separate copy of the files if you're on a managed machine. Just make a backup of your server.

Simply a five star host
My first pick for hosting, it's always NFO. I hardly use any other host. For personal projects I usually pick up a small vps at another host (Perhaps NFO should look into smaller vps offerings, just a thought), but NFO is my main stay. It's where I go to get my quality of service & performance f...

Re: Help With GRE tunnel
I don't understand, why not just purchase a two core (linux) perhaps install a gui if you don't like to deal with command line. You can probably get two servers running off of that depending on the mods and game.
