Server rentals :: NFOservers.com

i've had probably 15-20 joins in past 10 minutes but nobody stays long enough. got up to 4 and 1 leaves as 1 connects. not sure if the clients are crashing or if players are getting impatient. at least my server cant crash if the map never rotates.

how are you crashing every map and still have 90% of your slots full on 3 servers?

at least you guys are still getting traffic. it takes 4-5 players before mine fills up immediately. also i see players join and then they never appear. i would take crashes and traffic over nothing.

Server seems to run beautifully, mines been fully populated since saturday morning. I've crashed, but the server has been fine. ~MTL Mortis mtlmayhem.com same for me...my client has crashed a couple times during game and then flat out would not connect a couple times and had to kill it. server lost...

Does the server restart after a crash or does it stay down and require a manual start? I went to bed last night with a full server, woke up with an empty one...hehe. didnt see anything in the event logs and i'll be damned if i can get anyone to join the server now.

i couldnt kick using standard commands either but through Procon, you can kick using PB. that seemed to work for now.

So is the an Official Hardcore option coming? My server is official and says hardcore, however it does not appear to be and some players have mentioned it is not hardcore. Not too big of a deal since the server is full but I do prefer the hardcore mode of play.

I was able to get my server set to Hardcore by sending the command via rcon. Server is ranked and hardcore with zero spectators. Looks like when i try to set commanders to false the server goes custom. I'll leave it as is for now.

what if you are running a tool like procon. i'm in the same boat. I can see hardcore servers but cant get the config right.

ok, sorry if that was addressed in another post...couldnt find it in the search.

I have a 32 slot server that keeps dropping down to 20 slots. I select hardcore settings and only change FF and the slots go back to 32. after i restart the server, we are back at 20 slots. is this because of hardcore? not sure why this is happening. please advise.
