I'm back now; has everything been resolved?

I discovered the cause of this lag when I got back -- one server on that machine was broken and constantly crashing, and every time it restarted it used 100% of one CPU for a few seconds, causing everything else to lag.

It should be fixed now.

Could you email/msg me about your problems, se7en? I'd like to get them worked out as soon as possible.

Yup, email is best. I check that most often.

First off, thanks for pointing out that your stats were not updating properly. I have now set them to update four times a day, which will hopefully offset the time that they were running only once a day :? Second, you had some good questions regarding where the current servers fall under the pricing...

Whoopsie! That was a configuration error with your control panel, totally my fault there. Should be fixed now

I don't check these forums very often (once or twice a week). It'd probably be better if we talked in email

Some people don't even communicate at all! I'll get a rental request with no comments, to which I reply with a purchase link. We now have a news screen as our main page here. This should be very useful for announcements regarding all of our rentals, and I recommend that all our renters check it every few days.

One interesting thing I've been noticing about some other rental companies is that they're often either full or have an extremely limited number of servers available ("only two left in (blank) location!!", etc.). This seems very odd to me. Why would a company not be able to quickly expand ...
