It isn't possible to remove the configured reverse DNS for the NFO routers from a traceroute.

Tools like the one you linked keep a record of all IPs the domain has ever resolved to(in most cases). It may at some point in the future start reporting your cloudflare IP.

It also may not work immediately, I assume the browser has a cache so it doesn't request the file every single visit. Give it 5-10min and just F5 your website every now and then.

You shouldn't need any html code if I remember correctly. Just put favicon.ico in your websites root folder and the browser will look for it automatically.

I doubt NFO will discuss this on the forums. Server owners have details posted to their event log, you can ask them what is happening to their server(s).

Did you order a Windows OS on your server?

Check the "IP List" tab in your control panel, try all IPs there under the "IP" column(not netmask or gateway).

Are you getting your install package from simplemachines.org?

I just went through the install process and the only place I can think of that it might of been messed up is where you set your board url.

I am not talking about your NFO CP, your SMF CP.

If this is a new install, just reinstall the software and make sure you configure it right this time.

all of your assets are trying to be pulled from 127.0.0.1(or localhost).



You must of misconfigured your software during installation.

Do you have the proper domain set in the config file? What is your websites URL?

You are missing assets like css/image files. Is this a fresh install? Make sure the website is configured properly and that the assets are readable by the web server.

Is the IP listed as pingable in the managed tab?
