I am in the market to buy 2 game servers and maxing the slots for CS:S and CS:GO. My question is, Does it really make a big difference on Ultra accelerator?

Re: Ultra accelerator
A hyper-accelerator increases server-side FPS to around 500 (the default is ~65) and the ultra-accelerator increases server-side FPS to around 1000, increasing performance even further then the hyper-accelerator. You wont see to much of a difference, if you have a big budget id get it.
Re: Ultra accelerator
The 2 games he listed have the FPS locked to tickrate.theRadAleks wrote:A hyper-accelerator increases server-side FPS to around 500 (the default is ~65) and the ultra-accelerator increases server-side FPS to around 1000, increasing performance even further then the hyper-accelerator. Re: Ultra accelerator
I would not recommend it. It causes you to be put onto a Linux machine that has more accurate timers, but both games do very well on Windows and it is unlikely that you would see a difference in practice. With a larger server, you'd also see higher performance on Windows because of better engine optimizations.
