Re: Unturned Servers!

Post by Steve(KONIG) »

Hi all

I am currently trying to host an Unturned server remotely after my local server, which ive hosted for almost a year, got DDOSed and our ISP threatened to end my internet service contract :)

First of all, what current core-configuration for VDS/VDP unmanaged system are you guys using? I am using a 2-core configuration but should I change this to a higher one or lower?

Second of all, after I installed Steam + Unturned on the VDS unmanaged machine and run the server batch file, it seems Unturned crashes immediately. I am thinking this might have to do with the Unity 5 engine that Unturned is using, as the Windows Server 2012 R2 did not come with any additional software (understandably)

Any assistance on this from those currently hosting Unturned with NFO?
If you guys can also tell me what configuration you are using (in terms of VDS/VDP and how you set up your serv in the virtual machine) that would be greatly appreciated

My server group is here if you want to Czech it out

Thx

Hi All

I am currently trying to move my server remotely using NFO Servers
I have a 2-core system VNC, unmanaged

However it seems that while the server shows its running fine on the remote desktop, I cannot see my server on the server browser list
I think it might have to do something with my port and IP?

This is my current commands.dat file
Some assistance from current hosters is greatly appreciated

map PEI
name STEVES RP SERV: STARTERKIT=AIRDROPS=HOME=ANTIGRIEF
pve
port 25444
bind 72.X.XXX.X
mode Normal
maxplayers 25
perspective both
welcome XXXXXXXXXXXX

I also havent changed any configuration in the NFO Control Panel if this has something to do with that.

thx

1. Make sure that unturned.exe is allowed through the firewall.
2. Forward the port(s).
3. You shouldn't need to bind the ip.

You can use this to see if steam can see your server: http://api.steampowered.com/ISteamApps/ ... ddr=IPHERE
