Re: CPU goes to zero but still many players on server???
Are you referring to the 2 small blips in the graph? This appears to have occurred last night, around the time we had a routing issue come up in Seattle. This likely caused our intermittent CPU polling not to respond, causing the gap you see in the graphing.
Re: CPU goes to zero but still many players on server???
Spray is correct, if you are referring to the gaps.
A gap represents no data being available for that time period. It is not the same as the value going to zero. If a value goes to zero, you will see the actual line or bar go to zero.

OK, but why wouldn't the player data also show gaps?
Re: CPU goes to zero but still many players on server???
The reasons relate to underlying low-level behavior. Different systems handle the two functions, and they use different protocols. The server query function retries more times and uses UDP, with a different port each time, so we have a finer-grained control over those retries, and each retry has a better chance of taking a different path when load-balancing is involved.

OK, here's another one. This time the CPU was stuck at 121% for hours even while there were NO players.

If you have a technical concern about your specific service, we are here to help you, but it is best to ask in a support request.

I did ask in the Help page, but it was not efficacious. I only posted here to see if anyone had any thing to offer.
