NFO as VPN on TomatoUSB Router

Post by Kirneill »

Hello,

Does anyone know how to have the NFO as a VPN on my TomatoUSB router through OPENVPN Client. I tried Softether but it only works for my PC. I tried taking off the NAT and DHCP on Softether but it would never Authenticate. Please help. just looking to get DDOS protection on Xbox.

What is the model of your modem and router? And do you have QoS setup to prioritize gaming traffic for Xbox?

It's common to experience networking issues while playing video games on Xbox. That doesn't necessary mean you're getting attacked. There are countless problems which can look like denial of service attack.

Are you running the latest TomatoUSB version? It appears that they have GUI options for OpenVPN client setup, under "VPN Tunneling".
