Hi all,
Just a very simple question about how NFO is handling the new CoronaVirus and whether we should be expecting some downtime as a result of it?

Re: NFO and CoronaVirus
We do not currently expect to see downtime due to the virus. Our employees work remotely, and the datacenters that we use have continued to operate and remained staffed. They should continue to operate, as they would be considered essential services. The networks at our locations have tons of spare capacity and are built to robust standards.
The main impact that we are seeing right now is in the form of scattered reports from clients who are seeing congestion with their ISPs. I have personally helped a couple of customers in Europe and a couple of customers in the U.S. whose ISPs have overloaded upstream links. Sometimes we are able to route around such problems, thanks to our usage of INAP and multiple upstream providers, combined with automated and manual route selection knobs.
Usage for our networks and game servers has so far been similar to what we see in the summertime.
