Server Question

Is there a server config that can be changed so laggy people don't seem to have the advantage? We play with one guy who is bouncing all over our screen and hard as crap to hit, but he manages to hit us no problem. We have pings in the 30's and he is 300+ on a good day. I am not sure if it is server side sv_minrate and maxrate. Please help.

Why not just install high_ping_kicker plug in. Rid all high pingers, damn its 2003 tell them to get high speed.

You could try bumping up the sv_minrate if you'd like, but that'd only hurt the modem players and not just random high pingers =\

yea I hate that too, I just kick them. 95% of the time they don't come back becuase they know why they were kicked and don't bother. Everyonce and awhile they come back and flame you like you wouldn't believe. In that case I ban.
